Telephone is fastest during the hours on the board. Email works any time and gets answered the same working day. This site takes no orders, holds nothing and reserves nothing - it only carries messages.

Before you drive over

Call before you load

The bins move. A lot that was tagged on Monday can be on somebody's trailer by Wednesday. Ten seconds on the telephone beats an hour of driving, and the yard would rather tell you no early than have you stand in front of an empty bin.

Worth knowing first

Three things that save a trip

01

Say what you have, not what you want

"Six five-panel doors, 30 by 80, hinges on the left" tells the yard more in one line than a whole paragraph about a renovation.

02

Bring the sample, in daylight

Brick and flooring match in the hand and under the sky. A photograph under a bulb will send you home with the wrong thing.

03

Ask about the guide before the material

If the job is a stripped door or a re-glazed sash, read the door guide or the sash guide first. Sometimes the answer changes what you need.
